I think the two of them are in on faking her death, that she's going to disappear forever... hence all the I'm so proud of you emotional talks with her kids lately.
So, Jeremy inherits her money, instead of it going to her kids, because she's still going to need money in her life post-faking-her-death. That would be why they got married. My guess.

I agree with the list line about the emotional talks she gave prior to her faking her death but what would be in it for her to marry this jerk? If she stayed single, the kids would inherit automatically. Not sure what the benefit would be for her to do this.

If she stayed single, the kids would inherit her money and she, still actually being alive, would have nothing to survive on. I figure Jeremy will give her her money, that would have to be part of the arrangement. What I can't figure is what does having Diane's ring in her hand prove? How is she framing Diane for anything?

Why would would she marry him if the kids wouldn't inherit the money? She shouldn't trust him to send her $.

Well it makes more sense to me that she needs a plan to have money after she fakes her death. Sure Stark could double cross her, but he also could honor the deal. I figure the writers are going to wrap up this story soon, at least Stark's part. It's already been spoiled that the actor started a new gig.

It's terribly risky for her to trust Stark not to double cross her. Since when has he proven himself to be trustworthy? She should have been withdrawing incremental sums of money and stashed it somewhere. Of course this is not sustainable in the long run.
I'm thinking Chance will find traces of poison on the ring or the mask which Stark would have done. Perhaps it was something slow acting that would mimic loss of consciousness/death by slowed heartrate or pulse which could be reversed at wherever the "ambulance" plans on taking her.

I'm thinking that the ring Diane took out of Phyllis' hand is a fake and between Phyllis and Stark they'll sell the real thing.

I just read a Canadian spoiler which says that the medic told Chance he saw Diane take the ring. He said that Phyllis gained consciousness briefly and said "poison, poison" . Then there was the crash and ambulance caught fire and both the driver and Phyllis died."

I had read, and I don't know if it's true, that Phyllis' body was burned beyond recognition, but of course it's presumed to be Phyllis. So... if Phyllis is burned that badly, can they even do an autopsy to determine cause of death? I guess they will. I guess they'll be able to find there was poison in Phyllis' system. But then, would Diane be charged with poisoning Diane, or with murdering Diane?
