AKA Billy. I thought it was really strange the first time he popped gum in his mouth. It's something we never see on soaps. According to another board I read - and this makes sense - Billy has multiple personality disorder. This is bad Billy that you see whenever he is chewing gum. And bad Billy is gas lighting regular Billy. Bad Billy is the one who has been putting out the doll, writing on the walls, etc. to drive good Billy crazy and go after Adam. I don't think Y&R has ever had a multiple personality disorder that I can remember. They like the twins and dopelganger stuff. I think it could be interesting. The actor is doing a very good job!

Wow!! I never would have guessed this!!
Well that explains how things happen in dreams and then appear on the wall. And how he woke up at the Chancellor mansion... it didn't make sense that he could drive there while sleeping.
I think this is very creative. I'm almost sorry I read the spoiler, but on the other hand, I think I'll enjoy it more now that I know. It makes me want to rewatch some scenes.
I might be behind... so far, I have only seen Billy chew gum once... he was on the back patio of Crimson Lights, watching a conversation (but now I don't remember who he was listening to... Michael and Adam maybe?)

I feel the same way you do. It all makes sense and I like it. It blindsided me too. For once it was unpredictable.

Wow. I am excited to watch this. How cool. I wonder what triggered Billy to split personalities? Obvious the death of his daughter and Adam coming back. It I wonder how the writers will spin it? Will Billy had this split personality just recently or he had the disorder long before?

This is a soap so we have to expect and accept certain inaccuracies. It is my understanding that this disorder does not usually occur for the first time when someone is older, so not sure about the accuracy. Actually, I have also heard that there is no such thing as multiple personalities but I think that is a matter or disagreement amongst psychiatrists. I will still enjoy the story and Jason is doing a good job.

I'm not going to get hung up on possible inaccuracies in the disorder. It seems more plausible than Adam coming back from the dead twice, or all the characters who've had plastic surgery to look and sound exactly like someone else, or how fast you can move a million dollars in GC.

Interesting scene when Billy was at the Chancellor mansion... how he suddenly got this look on his face and removed the gum from his mouth. Then he was nice and calm and normal. Then moments later, boom, a fresh piece of gum comes out.
Jason Thompson is doing a great job! He's been my favourite Billy for quite a while now... I used to miss Billy Miller but not anymore. JT is great. He's a solid actor.
