He was having some serious dialog issues. Can't believe they didn't reshoot it.

I am wondering why every scene with him is shot with him sitting in that chair at the ranch. I know he reported the cancer is gone but I think he is really getting old and finding acting more and.more.difficult.

A week or two ago when Audra dropped by to speak with Victor, I had to turn the volume up but could still only understand half of their words (and all of the other characters', so it is not my hearing). They both need elocution lessons! EB may be a lost cause after 62 years of mumbling for a living, but ZS could probably be taught to use her lips to pronounce consonants with her matching chiclet teeth with help of a speech pathologist. Perhaps Sharon could consider getting a second on-line Master's degree when Kirsten media fails.
My uncle was a dentist and I have an odd fascination with different tooth configurations (and I loved Cher's unique original teeth!). So I immediately spot veneers, implants & dentures, especially when they impair pronunciation and can be readily compared to photos of their original teeth on the internet. When Audra speaks, I often hear Charlie Brown's teacher talking (wah, wah, wah, wah ...) when she talks by moving her jaw like a Muppet, with no attempt to move her lips or tongue differently to pronounce different consonants. It seems lazy for an actor, or perhaps too much botox.

How interesting that your uncle was a dentist and that you have this interesting fascination! Also, I'm suddenly reminded of a video I saw where a woman imitates a bunch of famous actors just by changing how they use or don't use their mouths. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcE9JG2yoM4

I understand that ZS's first language is Spanish, so maybe that has something to do with the unusual way she pronounces some words. I read on line that when she was a little girl, her best friend at school spoke no Spanish, only English, and ZS spoke only Spanish, no English. Together they learned how to communicate in each other's languages. I thought that was kind of sweet.
