It looks to me like Christine has had some filler and botox done. She looks a lot younger. But she is also having trouble moving her cheeks and forehead. Big contract to Danny Romalati who has aged naturally. It's kind of not fair that, presumably, the women feel more pressure to get work done to look younger.

She looks artificial, for sure. Lots of work done, presumably because of the upcoming airtime, but it's unfortunate that she can't move her forehead, as you said. On the other hand, she did do a good job in her scenes grieving the end of her marriage, despite the botox limitations. I felt her pain come through. Seeing Sharon today, I felt annoyed that her main acting technique now is widening her eyes till they nearly pop out of her head. Because her face is just frozen from cosmetic procedures. It's such a shame.

I thought Christine, despite the obvious botox and fillers, looked very pretty. The light blue sweater set off her eyes beautifully. I also thought her grieving and showing real emotion was a vast improvement over her usual acting. Of course, the writers usually have her snarling so maybe that's it.

I agree with both of you that her acting in that scene was very good. She didn't overplay the emotions. She did well being upset but trying not to show it, and let Danny distract her with conversation. But when she finally talked about what was happening with Paul, she brought on more emotion. She dialed it up well.
And even though she had some work done, it wasn't overdone... I did see a bit of wrinkling in her forehead. And good for her for not getting her lips blown up.

I thought she looked pretty too. Whatever work she's had done is the best that money could buy, so to speak. The only real tell tale signs for me were her cheeks--they looked like something had been injected there, to fill them out.

Hollywood is harsh on women when we age. They can’t find work. Hence the fillers, facelifts etc. men can age and be distinguished and women are constantly criticized
