In the dive bar that Amanda and Billy keep going to, there are always peanut shells on the table. I ought to start screen capping it and seeing if there are the exact same number, exact same configuration on their table every time.
I think that the peanut shells are a bit too much. I think the set designer got the point across well enough without the peanut shells.

Agree! And Billy apparently loves them as a prop as he is always shoveling them in his mouth. The place looks like a pig sty.

There used to be a popular bar in the area called.The Peanut Bar that intentionally had peanut shells on the floor

We once went to a bar in Cancun that had straw all over the floor, and I'm pretty sure it was to keep the slippage down.
