Spinoff from lucygirl pointing out that 4 or 5 sets have vanished recently, just to give us Society.
I'm trying to tally it all up. Please add on:
What's been lost recently? - GCAC - GCAC gym (although it's been a bit longer for that) - GCAC rooftop - top of the Tower at Newman - the Ranch - Summer's condo that Phyllis lived at - the OLD Chancellor park where Katherine's memorial was, the benches and bushes where Sage went into labor
What's been gained or brought back: - Victor's office - Society - the park where JT was buried and Tessa plays for crowds of 4-8 people - a temporary carnival
What else can you think of? Has the police station been shown lately?

I mentioned Dark Horse and Nicks house in the other posts. The Tack House has been brought back. Poor Cane, all he has left from his old life is the kitchen! No wife, no twins, no living room.

And Victoria lost her front door and front hallway. All the guests enter from the dining room now.
Don't forget for Cane, no son Sam anymore either! Actually I can't even remember the last time I saw Cane and Lily's house. Maybe it's gone completely?

Yes, I think we can add Cane and Lily's house to the removed list. It's been ages since we saw that. Since his wife and kids have been lopped off all there is is that sad, weary kitchen with Sam's lonely highchair...
I think we can say goodbye to the police station as well.
That's a lot to lose for not much gain!
I miss Avery's set. That was a cozy and sunny place. In contrast, Lola and Kyle's place feels claustrophobic to me.

The funniest was the Christmas tree, etc in the kitchen. Oh, one place I do like is Devon's. I like the picture of the koi too.

The Christmas tree was in the kitchen? I thought they had sort of an open floor plan and that the kitchen opened into the family room or living room. I can't actually remember where the tree was though.
I still miss the Gloworm restaurant. It was bright, like Avery's place. Avery's place was nice. You could see a church spire out her window.
Lola and Kyle's place is not good at all. The cayenne wall was a slight improvement. Side note: When Kyle first said he bought cayenne paint for the wall, I thought he was mispronouncing Cyan. LOL. I realized my mistake soon enough, but I was disappointed that I didn't catch an error.

Did you notice the Christmas creche was in the kitchen sink?

Did you notice the Christmas creche was in the kitchen sink? Seriously? That's pretty sad! No, I didn't notice!

I was shocked to see the Chancellor mansion today!
Also I had to laugh... whoever said they always sit at the same table at Society... I've seen that twice since I read that.
Paul seems to have lost his office... he only had the tiny room to talk to Adam. Paul used to do that kind of thing in his office.

The park set is one that I'd like to see vanish. It is small, cramped, with barely enough space to give a corpse a decent (or indecent) burial! It's also overloaded with (probably fake) flowers that always seem to be out of season.

I agree! The previous park set was a lot better.

That reminds me: the red rose that Paul gave Christine was so fake looking!

Wow, Victoria got her front hall, stairs and front door back! It's been like a year since we've seen that part of her house. All the guests had been entering from the dining room for a long time now.
