And Top of the Tower is back. Yay! (Um-- do I have the name right? I mean the place where Mariah threw a party for Kyle and Lola.)

No, the Top of the Tower is the ugly dark restaurant at the top of Newman Towers. I'm not exactly sure what the proper name is for where the party was held... I call it the Rooftop at the GCAC. But yes, it's back!! I forgot to mention that. I was happy to see it still exists. I suppose there's a spare set where they just haul out all the items out of storage and set it up for a shoot, and then put it away later when they need to retrieve another rarely used set.

Wow, sets sets sets. Not only does Nick have a bedroom, but now we have the Grand Phoenix, and the Newman ranch is back. Plus the rooftop at the GCAC has been seen a few times lately. And Victoria still has her front entry. The police station was even back!
What sets have been packed up to make room for all of this?

I was very surprised to see Nicks bedroom. (Not many women in GC can say that) but even more surprised to see the Phoenix, which I liked.

I liked the Phoenix too. I wasn't expecting to see it either.

Whoa, Victor's office made an appearance. Where are they finding the space for all these sets? I would love to visit the studio and have a tour, and find out how often they take down and put up sets and how long that takes!

Come to BC. We have tons of studios and they are growing by the year
Especially in Langley. SuperGirl, Riverdake, Sabrina are all filmed around the corner from me. Not to mention 90%of the Hallmark movies are as well too Always something being filmed in Fort Langley or the farms.
It is like Hollywood in my neck of the woods.

Have you ever visited any of the sets? The only sets I have seen are when I stumble across something being filmed outdoors.

I dated a guy who worked on SuperGirl so I got to see the new sets all the time. The sets were super cool & real looking. Then he would take me to the workshops of where everything was made and I got to hear how they make these elaborate space/moon/alien jail sets. Pretty cool

I am mostly just curious about the sets for the Y&R because I don't really watch any other tv shows... just a few Spanish shows on Netflix. But I have always enjoyed the outdoor filming locations even if I didn't ever see the movies they were used in.

A friend of mine is a huge New Kids on the Block fan. Donnie Wahlburg is in "Bluebloods" and she is always going to NYC to watch filming. Sounds like fun.

When I lived in NYC, I lived less than a block from Central Park and went for a walk there every day before I started work. I saw the cameras and crew for the filming of Ransom but didn't bother to check it out because I don't like Mel Gibson. Just a side note: I later taught in CT at the school where Mel Gibson's many children attended, under assumed names for security reasons. Don't know if I ever taught one of them. One of the famous sets of The Handmaid's Tale, the "hanging bridge" is in Cambridge Ontario, a few miles from my home. I've crossed that bridge-- and kept moving!-- a number of times.

Looks like we are going to be seeing Amanda's and Billy's dive bar for a while. What set disappeared to make room for this?
Devon doesn't seem to have an office anymore. He always seems to be working from his condo.
